Northern Virginia Tops In Life Expectancy

Wednesday, November 26th, 2008

I came across an interesting article online this morning about the life expectancy of those living in Northern Virginia:

The search for the fountain of youth may just end in our own backyard.

A new study finds northern Virginia has the highest life-expectancy rate in the nation.

People in Arlington County, parts of Fairfax County (web|news) and Alexandria (web|news) live an average of 82.9 years.
That’s five years longer than the average American.

The increase is attributed to an affluent society with excellent health care and education, but I’m thinking it must have something to do with out godless and communist ways.
