Back From the Burn

I walked into our bedroom last night and thought: “Strange. I remember this room being smaller than this.” The feel of the banister slipping thru my hand on the walk up was comfortable and just right but other familiar things seemed askew in a ways I can’t quite describe.

Welcome to Burning Man decompression I suppose.

Fortunately Will and my pets were exactly as I recalled and gathering them around me was very comforting. It’s good to be home.

So I’m back. It was an amazingly great trip — one of my best ever, but one so filled with highlights I scarcely know where to begin. Give me a day or two and I’ll have some pictures and essays up. For now I’m just going to get readjusted to television and regular bathing…
