Let’s see, first I’ll start with the missed birthdays:
- Happy B-Day to Chris Dott on Saturday
- Apologies to Diane for not be able to attend her Birthday party Saturday Night (We’d already made the commitment below)
- And Happy birthday to Patrick this Monday.
The weekend I was still in catch-up mode. It’s amazing how many things got ignored in my race to finish the album. Bills, chores, cleaning, social obligations – they all went by the wayside and so it was time to pay the piper.
Rat-racing aside, we did make time to head over to dinner at Peter’s and Jen’s. It was a fine time with excellent food and good company. I showed everyone my Alphaville dvd and I hope they enjoyed it. Not everyone can get into a French sci-fi/noir flick with heavy absurdist elements, but hey, it inspired a lot of ideas on the album and I wanted them to see it.
